Safety Tips For Passengers in Cars

When you are traveling in a car, there is nothing worse than a passenger who won't stop telling the driver how to drive. A lot of the time, passengers who are like this think that they are helping the driver by being a second set of 'eyes'. However, a lot of the time, these types of passengers are doing nothing more than simply annoying the driver and causing all sorts of undue problems.

Not only can 'passenger seat drivers' cause the driver to become distracted, but a lot of the time, these types of passengers are what we refer to as 'nervous passengers'. Sometimes, this is due to the fact that passengers have had bad driving experiences. And surprisingly perhaps is the fact that a lot of these drivers are notorious for being bad drivers! So, how is it then that they feel they are able to direct others on their driving skills? If you are driving with someone who cannot seem to stop themselves from correcting your driving or who are simply being overly helpful, you may need to have a chat with them as to how their comments affect your driving. In a worse-case scenario, you may have to forfeit driving with him or her in order to preserve your sanity.
